Kirsty Farrelly
Lead Partner - BA, FCA
After graduating from Lancaster University with a First Class Honours degree in Accounting and Finance, Kirsty qualified as a Chartered Accountant with the ICAEW whilst working as an auditor at Deloitte LLP.
With more than 25 years of experience across mid-tier and independent accountancy firms, she has advised a wide range of clients – from sole traders and SMEs to multinational PLCs.
Having also run a family business herself, Kirsty understands first-hand the opportunities and challenges business owners face. She is passionate about helping clients realise their potential through clear, practical and commercially focused advice.
Recognising a gap in the market for advisors who go beyond compliance, she founded Farrelly & Co. to deliver a more personal, insight-led approach.
Today, the firm supports businesses with strategic guidance, financial clarity and ongoing advice – helping owners make confident decisions, navigate an increasingly complex regulatory environment and achieve sustainable growth.
Outside of her client work, Kirsty has long been involved in supporting the local community, including through school governance roles. She is also committed to improving financial awareness among young people, by running free workshops to help teenagers and young adults build confidence in managing their finances and planning for the future.
